BookTheDriver\'s mission is to offer our customers the finest Transportation service available through partner Affiliates/Companies, with competitive prices.

BookTheDriver is a software company that connects your Transportation Reservation to Independent Contractors, Affiliates/Companies that will provide you with the Transportation requested or similar.

 

Drivers that are Booked through this site reserve the right to Farm-Out/ Dispatch the Reservation to their Affiliates if they are unable to make the pick-up themselves for any reason.

 

 

Calculations of Estimated Quote/Price Above.

Point to Point is Calculated by distance from First pick-up Location through stops to Final Drop of locations plus service options requested.

Hourly Booking is Calculated by “garage-to-garage”,  Or “Base-to Base” meaning that time is added to a trip to account for the vehicle’s travel time en-route to a pick-up, and back to its point of origination.

 

Changes  to Estimated Quote/Price Above.

Final Charge may differ then Quoted Price. Rates/price quoted prior to service are only an initial estimate of the cost of services reserved. Estimated Price above are subject to change on completion of Reservation based on additional stops, tolls if any, taxes if not included, gratuity if not included, waiting time, and/or other additional services requested of Driver during the trip or if service went above what the reservation is reserved for.  Including a return trip travel Charge based on distance (point to point), when final drop of location is an out of town final drop off above what the reservation is reserved for.  Also if an Hourly Booking has a Final Drop Off location that is an Out Of Town final drop off then a Return Trip Travel charge will be charged base on how long it takes to get back to the Base.

 

 

Airport Instructions:

Call or Text your driver when you land to establish a Pick-up point. Good travel practice is to Call or Text your Assigned Driver to establish your Pick-up Point in Airports before your Reservation Date. IF you do not see your driver at the pick-up point established on your reservation or during your communication with Transportation Affiliate/Company servicing this reservation, DO NOT LEAVE the spot before calling them with the number or contact information provided above in the reservation.  (IT IS THE CUSTOMER\'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL or TEXT THEM). If you LEAVE THE PICK-UP LOCATION without calling them you will be deemed a “NO SHOW” and be CHARGED for the full price of the ride contracted plus any additional fees incurred by Driver for this reservation.

 

Notifying Transportation Affiliate/Company.

The Transportation Affiliates/Companies do their best to track your flight but if you MISS your flight or your flight was CANCELLED, you must Notify the Affiliate/Company that is servicing this Reservation via Call or Text with the Contact information provided in this Reservation and let them know of your status or your new flight information to avoid being charged "WAITING TIME"  that can be cut short in addition to the "NO SHOW".

 

 

 

No Show

All efforts to contact a customer via cell numbers or through other contact information provided is made before our Affiliated/Company drivers are released and a trip is deemed a "NO SHOW" reservation.  A “NO SHOW” will be charged at the full amount Quoted plus “waiting time” and any expense incurred by the driver for this reservation. 

 

Complimentary Waiting Time Policy

15 minute (Grace period) complimentary waiting time on all residential & office pick-ups from Scheduled pick up time on the Reservation. 

30 minute (Grace period) complimentary waiting time on all Airport arrivals from Scheduled pick up time on the Reservation. Please account for the time it takes to get off the plane go through customs and get your luggage when ENTERING A PICK-UP TIME on the Reservation Form, when its an airport Pick-up.

 

 

 

 

Additional Waiting Time

Sedans: Additional wait time is calculated $1 per/minute.

Suvs: Additional wait time is calculated $2 per/minute.

Vans and Stretch limos: Additional wait time is calculated $3 per/minute.

Bus: Additional wait time is calculated $5 per/minute.

 

 

Additional Stops

Sedans:  Additional stops are billed at $10.00 per stop. Higher rates may apply based on actual distance,

                duration of stop, and if extra stop diverted trip from original route.

Suvs:   Additional stops are billed at $10.00 per stop. Higher rates may apply based on actual distance,     

             duration of stop, and if extra stop diverted trip from original route. 

Vans:  Additional stops are billed at $10.00 per stop. Higher rates may apply based on actual distance, 

            duration of stop, and if extra stop diverted trip from original route.

Stretch Limos:  Additional stops are billed at $10.00 per stop. Higher rates may apply based on actual 

                            distance, duration of stop, and if extra stop diverted trip from original route.

Bus:  Additional stops are billed at $10.00 per stop. Higher rates may apply based on actual distance, 

         duration of stop, and if extra stop diverted trip from original route.

 

 

 

 

Term Definitions:

Airport Transfer

The charge for service between a commercial airport or a Private airport location and a predefined location.

 

 

Hourly Charge

The charge for "As-Directed" service when there is an itinerary involved or the chauffeur takes instructions from the customer; typically involves multiple stops. Hourly booking involves Garage-to-Garage hourly time added (also called Travel time).

 

 

Point-to-Point Transfer

The charge for a  transfer mostly between two predefined locations.

 

 

Base or Garage 

Driver/Affiliate/Company location where they conduct their business from.

 

Garage-To-Garage

Hourly time is added to a trip to account for the vehicle’s travel time en-route to a pick-up, and back to its point of origination

 

 

Base Price 

The rate charged for basic transportation services before any Gratuity, STC, Fuel Surcharge, Airport Fee, International Arrival Fee, Incidental Charges, and/or Tax is added.

 

 

 

Quoted Price

The Estimated price calculated given the services requested of Driver/Affiliate/Company in the Area/Region that he/she or it provides it’s services in.

 

Out Of Town

A Final Drop Off in Area/Regions that is outside the service locations (City, or Town) of the Driver/Affiliate/Company that was chosen to provide your transportation needs.

 

 

Child Safety Seats

For safety reasons of providing age and weight appropriate equipment, BookTheDriver does not provide child safety or booster seats. However, customers may requested them from our Affiliates when making a booking or provide and install their own child safety or booster seats.

 

Safety Belts

BookTheDriver requires passengers to comply with all local laws and regulations regarding safety belts and other safety equipment. If a Chauffeur gets a ticket based on a passenger not complying with local laws or regulations the amount of the ticket plus any surcharges will be applied to the passenger bill or charged to the passenger’s credit card.

 

Pet and Service Animals

Animals may only be transported in a kennel or soft-sided pet container.  In the event damage occurs to the vehicle, caused by the animal, a damage and/or cleaning fee may be charged.

 

For passengers with disabilities traveling with a service animal, the animal does not require being transported in a kennel or soft-sided pet container.

Excess Cleaning & Damage

If, during or after the transportation service, the company is required to expend an extended amount of time and material to clean the vehicle due to acts of the client or any passenger (i.e., spilling food & drinks, vomiting, prohibited smoking, excessive trash, damage caused by a pet or service dog) , the company, at its discretion, will charge client additional fees to cover such expense.  Damage to the vehicle in any way caused by actions of the client or any passenger will be charged in full to the client.  The minimum clean up fee is $250.

 

 

Cancellations & Changes

VANS, STRETCHED LIMOS and BUSES  require no less than 2 weeks cancellation notice ,otherwise you will be charged for the full amount of your trip quoted.

SEDANS and SUV require no less than 24 hours cancellation notice ,otherwise you will be charged for the full amount of your trip quoted.

Late Cancellations are subject to the full service charge quoted.

Driver Onsite/On location Cancellations are subject to the full service charge plus any applicable wait time charges and expenses incurred.

Time changes made with less than the required notice above will still result in additional and possibly full charges.  Example: At 1:30pm a requested change in pick up time from 2:00pm to 4:00pm will result in full charge for the 2:00pm trip and a new charge for the 4:00pm trip.

 

IMPORTANT: Cancelation Email Notification.

When you cancel a reservation please make sure that you receive an email cancellation notice which will show your cancellation number, time you cancelled and date. This will assure that your cancellation was accepted as per our cancellation policy and you were charged or not charged accordingly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Refund Policy 

Any and all reimbursements due back to the client from deposits and/or for any other reason will be issued back to the credit card provided.

Clients/Passengers who are requesting a partial or whole refund must request it from that Affiliate/Company that Accepted the reservation.

BookTheDriver reserves the right to refund a Client/Passenger partial or all the funds related to the reservation if fraud/mistake/overcharge has been committed by the Affiliate/Company who accepted the Reservation and was chosen by the client/passenger. The Refund will be from the Affiliate’s/Company’s Account, be it bank Account or Merchant Account or Credit Card.

 

 

Smoking Strictly Prohibited

Smoking in all vehicles is strictly prohibited.  Smoking in the vehicle by the client or any passenger will result in an automatic minimum $250 charge. Unless permission is granted by the Affiliated/Company that Accepted the reservation in writing during the reservation process. The Request must be typed into the Request Box During the Reservation Process.  Damage caused by smoking activity like burned upholstery will be charged to the client.

 

Meet & Greet Services

On request, meet & greet services will be an extra charge and included in the Estimated quote. The extra charge amount will be categorized as a miscellaneous charge.

 

 

Staff Accommodations

On occasions that require overnight travel for chauffeurs, onsite coordinators or other client-dedicated staff, lodging and meals should be arranged and provided by the client for the Chauffeur.  A per diem may be applied in addition to lodging expense, if not provided by the client.

 

Chauffeur Arrival Time

BookTheDriver and its Affiliate’s/Company’s chauffeurs always prepare in advance to avoid unnecessary delays in arrival time.  However road construction, traffic and weather conditions are often times beyond the reasonable control of the Affiliate/Company and the chauffeur. No refunds can be given as a result of late arrivals due to such conditions or other occurrences out of the reasonable control of the Affiliate/Company or chauffeur.

 

Baggage and Other Property Transported

BookTheDriver and its Affiliates/Companies can not assume responsibility for the handling or maintenance of any baggage or other property, nor for any property left in Affiliate’s/company’s vehicles. Please always check thoroughly prior to leaving the vehicle for all your personal belongings.

 

 

Lost or Misplaced Items

BookTheDriver and its Affiliates/Companies assumes no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other items.

 

In-Vehicle Complimentary WiFi

 Many of BookTheDriver’s Affiliate/Company vehicles offer passengers complimentary In-Vehicle access to WiFi.  Any passengers who utilize the complimentary In-Vehicle WiFi understands and agrees that there are significant security, privacy and confidentiality risks inherent in accessing or transmitting information through the Internet, whether the connection to the Internet is facilitated through wired or wireless technology. These security issues range from interception of transmissions, loss of data, or the introduction of viruses or other programs that can damage your device or network.  ACCORDINGLY, ALL PASSENGERS AGREE THAT BKTD Inc , ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, PARENTS, OWNERS, INVESTORS AND INSURERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INTERCEPTION OF TRANSMISSIONS, LOSS OF DATA, FILE CORRUPTION, HACKING OR DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER OR NETWORK THAT RESULTS FROM THE TRANSMISSION OR DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS THROUGH THE SERVICE.

 

 

Passenger Conduct

BookTheDriver’s Affiliates/Companies reserves the right to refuse to transport persons under the influence of or in possession of illegal drugs, as well as those excessively intoxicated, in the possession of firearms or dangerous substances of any kind, or who are, or are likely to become objectionable to other persons or if the chauffeur feels threatened in any way.  Any abuse of any kind to the Chauffeur during a trip will end the service at the point of infraction. Under no circumstances are minors allowed to consume or possess alcohol or illegal substances while in a company vehicle.  Client shall not interfere with the chauffeur in the discharge of his/her duty or tamper with any apparatus or appliance on the vehicle. In such instances, services will be terminated immediately, Charged the full quoted amount plus any expenses incurred by driver and no refunds will be offered.
